Ship off the Old Blocks 2017

Ship off the Old Blocks is a design project for undergraduate engineering students. Each team must design and build a device capable of moving four wooden block within an enclosed space of roughly 2’x2’x3.5′. The device must be operated from outside the box. Please consult the Rules for more information on the specifics of the competition.

This challenge was performed as part of ENGR 1017: Computer Aided Design in the winter term of 2017. Videos of the prototype and final designs have been posted to YouTube. You can also download the results as a PDF file.
